Eva Schubert, directora del "Museo sin Fronteras", ha hecho llegar a la Biblioteca de la AECID, algunos ejemplares que completan esta colección sobre arte islámico.
"Museo Sin Fronteras" (MWNF: Museum With No Frontiers) es una organización muy activa que difunde el arte de ambos lados del Mediterráneo. Presenta el arte y la cultura como un medio fundamental para el entendimiento mutuo.
Eva Schubert tenía pensado como primer nombre "Luces del Mediterráneo", pero como ya estaba siendo utilizado por otra nstitución, eligió el actual de "Museum With No Frontiers".
En palabras de Eva Schubert: “Espero que los libros – sobre todo Argelia y Siria – despierten la atención de muchos lectores, también Palestina donde se describen, en Gaza, tantos monumentos y sitios que ya no existen. Todos los autores son del país y transmiten la perspectiva y el entendimiento local de la historia, del patrimonio y del arte”.
La colección se ha colocado en la nueva sala de lectura en libre acceso para su mejor disponibilidad.
